Point Devis Morris

Point Devis welcomes new members to join them for the start of their
practice season, if you
want to keep fit with your partner this is an ideal social way to do it
and if you are on your own a good way to meet new friends, we welcome
new dancers and musicians. Previous dance experience not necessary as we will spend
the winter months teaching new dancers and existing dancers new dances.
If you are a musician and would like to play with others come along and
join in with our band, any traditional musical instrument acceptable
apart from guitars.
How it all started
Reel Dance Ceilidhs began in February 1993 in response to the lack of regular dances for the organisers to go to! Since then we have built a reputation for booking top class bands on a regular basis and encouraging you, the dancers, whether beginner or expert to have a seriously good time.
Every band has a different style or a different line-up of instruments but all have their roots firmly steeped in traditional English and European music. Each caller has his/her own repertoire of interesting dances to keep your feet moving and your brow perspiring.
